It is an act of love to be ready in case of an emergency for your family and friends.  The In Case I Go Missing folder makes it super easy for the true-crime obsessed to record their key stats for their loved ones. Or, for the less dark among us, it's a great way to share important information your family should know, but often is held by only one person. Here's a list of key items you'll want to make sure are gathered before the emergency happens. 

1.  Personal Information: This should include your full name, date of birth, Social Security number, driver's license number, and passport number. You should also include a recent photo of yourself.

2.  Emergency Contacts: List the names, addresses, and phone numbers of family members, close friends, and/or a designated emergency contact person.

3.   Travel Information: If you're traveling, include details such as your itinerary, flight information, and hotel reservations. You should also list any activities you have planned and the contact information for any tour operators or guides you may be working with.

4.  Medical Information: Include any relevant medical conditions or allergies, as well as current medications you are taking. It's also a good idea to include the contact information for your doctor and insurance company.

5.  Financial Information: Keep a copy of your important financial documents, such as your bank account numbers, credit card information, and any other relevant information. This will help law enforcement or your emergency contacts access your accounts and finances if necessary.
