If you've ever had a loved one suddenly unavailable for any reason, you know the panic of trying to locate important documents without their guidance. Having key items in one go-to place makes it easier for you and those around you. Because the last thing anyone wants to do in an emergency is to go rifling through papers.
Emergencies aside, every family should have a “command center” that your partner and kids know to access for the important stuff - from social security numbers to real estate deeds to medical information. The Family Emergency Folio has 10 expandable, resealable envelopes and files of different sizes designed to hold approximately 20 pages of 8 1/2 x 11" or A4 papers. Over 33 hand-illustrated labels and 33 blanks that suggest what to gather and where to find important papers. Folios can be delivered plain or personalized.
